Dr. Anne Newbold works as a Medical/Legal Consultant. She works pre-litigation/pre-trial helping attorneys to settle cases for increased value with less attorney time. Dr. Newbold handles a broad range of medical issues and questions. She works on the strategic development of cases often helping to increase medical damages and future medical costs. She has experience in personal injury, Workers Compensation, insurance bad faith and many other kinds of cases.

Dr. Newbold is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician with more than 10 years of clinical practice experience in the emergency department.  She also has specialized training in Wilderness Medicine and Global Health, having provided care in unique and austere environments.  She has worked with unserved populations in Haiti, Honduras, Laos, and Fiji.  She has put her wilderness medicine training to use as the physician for ultra stage running races in Bhutan, New Zealand, The United States, Kenya, and Sri Lanka.   She has also practiced at several Colorado ski clinics providing care at high altitudes in challenging conditions.  

Anne completed her Emergency Medicine residency in Chicago at Midwestern University where she was Chief Resident and Resident of the Year during her final year.  She excels at communication, medical care, bedside manner, and her relentless pursuit of advocating for her patients.  

Anne's passion for providing the best care and outcomes for her patients has given her the unique opportunity to offer consultation services in legal cases, specifically personal injury, Workers Compensation, and  occupational health matters.  She also has access to a wide range of physicians in several specialties with whom she can consult to provide the most accurate and up to date information. Currently, Anne resides in Boulder, Co.
